1. Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and community-oriented Bima Sakhi to act as a local insurance facilitator in rural or semi-urban areas. The Bima Sakhi will work closely with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and community members to spread awareness about insurance products, assist in enrollment, and support claim processing. This role plays a vital part in empowering women and ensuring financial protection for underserved communities.

- Key Responsibilities:Create awareness about the advantages of insurance among SHG members and rural communities.
- Educate people on different insurance schemes (e.g., life, health, accident) using simple language and tools.
- Assist individuals in filling out insurance forms and ensure correct documentation.
- Support enrollment processes for government or private insurance schemes.
- Help policyholders with claim submission, documentation, and follow-up.
- Maintain a record of beneficiaries and submitted claims.
- Conduct regular group meetings or door-to-door visits to promote insurance inclusion.
- Coordinate with banks, insurance agents, NGOs, or government officials as needed.
- Submit daily/weekly reports to the supervisor or field coordinator.
