Job Description / Responsibility :

Responsible for IDM material purchase mainly Machine Spares, Tools, CAPEX Items, Consumables, Services

1. Study & understand Customer requirement by going through Specification/Datasheet

2. Research on Potential vendors to identify suitable vendor

3. Raise RFQ and Arrange to get 3 Quotations

4. Examine and compare quotes for technical and commercial viability for different items to buy material at competitive price

5. Conduct Techno-commercial negotiations with shortlisted vendors to workout competitive price

6. Prepare Purchase Order and check PO for accuracy & completeness before releasing to supplier

7. Tracking of PO and Follow up with the suppliers for timely delivery of the material

8. Check received goods against PO for Qty and Functional confirmation

9. Co-ordination with Stores, Finance for Supplier related issues

10. Deal with non-supplied, over ordered, under ordered, damaged, rejected goods
