Experience: 2 to 10 Years

- Key Responsibilities:Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related tooling.
- Interpret engineering drawings, tool designs, and specifications.
- Perform fitting, grinding, drilling, tapping, milling, and tool assembly activities.
- Conduct die spotting, tryout, and troubleshooting of press tools.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
- Identify and rectify tool-related issues to minimize production downtime.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs of existing dies and tools.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams during tool development and modifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of tool maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow safety guidelines, 5S standards,



and company policies.
- Required Skills:Solid knowledge of press tools, progressive dies, compound dies, and blanking tools.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience in tool fitting, die assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of conventional tool room machines such as Milling, Surface Grinding, Radial Drilling, and Lathe.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards.
- Qualification:ITI Tool & Die Maker / Fitter / Machinist or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred Industry:Auto Components, Sheet Metal, Press Shop, Tool Room, or Manufacturing Industry.
