To be successful as a Vice President- Data Designer, you should have experience with:
Accountabilities:-
- Design and develop detail data models, schemas, and database designs that
- meet the requirements of various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data designs and data flows.
- Ensure that data designs comply with best practices, governance, and security
- policies.
- Optimize data structures for performance and scalability in alignment with
- business objectives.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and propose
- solutions.
- Document data design specifications and maintain data dictionaries.
Basic/ Essential Qualifications
- Has designed and develop detail data models, schemas, and database designs
- Understands data requirements and translate them into effective data designs
- and data flows.
- Optimize data structures for performance and scalability in alignment with
- business objectives.
- Experience in conducting data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions.
- Understands data design specifications and maintain data dictionaries.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database management systems (e.g.,
- Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL , Kafka , AWS etc).
Desirable Skillsets/ Valuable To Have
- Proven experience in data modelling, database design, and data governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Understands financial crime domain.
