The Finance & Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting functions of the company. This role requires a hands-on approach to financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. The Finance & Account Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with senior management.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP (or relevant accounting standards).
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and statements.
- Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity needs to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Monitor cash flow projections and recommend strategies to optimize cash management.
Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, VAT and Corporation Tax.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare and submit tax returns.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the company.
- Financial Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors in compliance with India and UK auditing standards.
