Job Description
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud

infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services such as BigQuery,

Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Google Kubernetes Engine

(GKE).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud

Deployment Manager to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management

of GCP resources.
- Establish and enforce software engineering best practices, including modular code

design, comprehensive testing, code reviews, version control (Git), and

documentation standards.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and

release management of cloud infrastructure and data applications.
- Develop and integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud services

and data pipelines to ensure high availability, performance, and proactive issue

detection.




- Collaborate closely with data scientists, data analysts, and product development

teams to understand data requirements, provide technical guidance, and translate

analytical needs into scalable engineering solutions.
- Lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to

cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, application performance, and security.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of our cloud architecture and data platform,

evaluating current technologies and recommending best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of technical excellence, and promote

knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to Ford's security, governance, and data privacy

standards.
