A growing Canadian immigration consulting firm is expanding its remote support team to manage increasing caseloads. In this Immigration Legal Assistant role, you will provide essential administrative and paralegal support to experienced case managers in a regulated legal environment. Responsibilities include completing immigration forms, managing client records, scheduling appointments, and handling incoming phone inquiries. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with robust communication skills and an interest in Canadian immigration processes.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST with 30-minutes unpaid break (37.5 hrs per week)
Responsibilities
● Handle legal administrative tasks and paperwork for Canadian immigration cases
● Manage calendar scheduling and appointment coordination for the case processing team
● Receive and professionally manage incoming client phone calls and inquiries
● Complete and process immigration forms and documentation with precision
● Provide comprehensive back-office support to front-end case managers
● Organize and maintain detailed case files and client records
● Support the legal administrative workflow for immigration consulting services
● Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection standards
● Overall admin and social support when necessary
