We are looking for a creative and experienced Fashion / Bag Designer to develop innovative Jute, Cotton and fabric bags for our international customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new Jute, Cotton and fabric bag styles.
- Create bag concepts, sketches, mock-ups and production-ready drawings.
- Work with different fabrics, shapes, handles, trims, accessories and printing techniques.
- Develop samples in coordination with the factory and production team.
- Modify designs based on customer requirements and feedback.
- Create print artwork and layouts where required.
- Research current fashion, colour and bag trends for new collections.
Requirements:
- Experience in bags, têxtiles and fashion accessories preferred.
- Strong understanding of fabric,
bag construction and manufacturing.
- Valuable knowledge of Jute, Cotton, Canvas or similar fabrics is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and CorelDRAW.
- Good understanding of measurements, proportions, colours and materials.
- Creative, detail-oriented and able to develop designs that are both aesthetically appealing and commercially practical.
- Ability to work directly with the factory and production team.
