Ronnie’s Garage is a boutique car detailing and protection studio built around quality, attention to detail and storytelling. We create content around cars, detailing, PPF, coatings, restorations, workshops and the real work that happens inside our garage.
We’re looking for someone who can take an idea or raw footage and turn it into good, engaging content that actually gets published.
What you’ll be responsible for
Content & Ideas
- Brainstorm content ideas for Instagram and YouTube.
- Work closely with the founders to develop content concepts, hooks and scripts.
- Understand what makes content engaging, educational and engaging rather than simply promotional.
- Help plan the weekly/monthly content calendar.
Editing
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and regular social media content.
- Edit basic to intermediate YouTube videos.
- Select the best footage from shoots and turn it into engaging stories.
- Add music, sound effects, text, subtitles, transitions and basic graphics where required.
- Create basic thumbnails for YouTube.
- Maintain consistency in the visual style of Ronnie’s Garage.
Data Management
- Take complete ownership of organising and managing all video/photo data.
- Maintain proper folder structures and backups.
- Ensure footage from every shoot is safely stored, organised and easily accessible.
- Maintain project files and content archives so old footage can be reused.
Social Media
- Manage day-to-day publishing on Instagram and YouTube.
- Upload, schedule and optimise content.
- Write captions, titles, descriptions and basic hashtags/keywords.
- Repurpose long-form content into Shorts/Reels.
- Monitor comments and basic audience engagement.
- Track content performance and identify what is working.
Content Analytics
- Track views, retention, engagement, reach and other important metrics.
- Identify patterns in successful and unsuccessful content.
- Use performance data to improve future content ideas.
