About the Role:

The Lead – Sourcing will be responsible for strategic sourcing and supply planning of Specialty Fertilizers, Imported and domestic, and Packing Materials. The role involves procurement, production planning, inventory management, vendor development, and close coordination with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to ensure timely product availability while optimizing cost and quality.

The incumbent should be capable of managing geopolitical sourcing challenges, including export restrictions from China, and possess a positive understanding of import licensing and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source Specialty Fertilizers, Imported & Domestic,



and Packing Materials.

• Develop and manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers.

• Plan procurement, production, and inventory based on sales forecasts.

• Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance for seamless supply planning.

• Ensure timely availability and dispatch of packed goods.

• Manage import procurement, licensing, statutory compliances, and regulatory approvals.

• Handle geopolitical supply risks and identify alternate sourcing opportunities.

• Drive cost optimization, vendor performance, and working capital efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• MBA in Supply Chain or Operations preferably with Bachelor's degree in agriculture or chemical engineering.
