Social Media & Research Intern

The Woolgatherers is a multi-faceted creative studio based out of Bangalore.

As we expand into exciting current projects , we're looking for a Social Media & Research Intern with a strong understanding of content, communication, internet culture, and branding.

At The Woolgatherers, we build brands and experiences that feel thoughtful, slightly unexpected, and well-crafted. If you're someone who enjoys understanding *why* content works just as much as creating it, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Work On

Content Strategy — assist in planning content calendars, campaigns, and content pillars.

Social Media Management — schedule posts, write captions, publish content, and manage day-to-day social media across platforms.

Research — study industries, competitors, audience behaviour, trends, and cultural insights that inform our creative work.

Content Writing — support with captions, hooks, carousel copy, and short-form content.

Performance & Insights — track content performance, identify patterns, and suggest improvements.





Creative Collaboration — brainstorm ideas, contribute to campaigns, and work closely with our strategy and design teams.

AI & Workflow (Bonus) — use tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Notion to speed up research and content creation.

What We're Looking For

Strong Communication Skills — excellent written English and an understanding of tone of voice.

Content Thinking — understands what makes content engaging, memorable, and shareable.

Research Mindset — naturally curious and enjoys finding insights, trends, and references.

Brand Awareness — appreciates branding, storytelling, and communication design.

Organization — able to manage multiple tasks and keep research well documented.

Platform Knowledge — comfortable with Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms.

Bonus Skills — Canva, CapCut, Figma, basic analytics, or experience managing your own content page.
