About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Local SEO Expert who can independently manage and grow the organic and local search presence of businesses targeting customers across the USA.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Google Business Profile (GBP), local keyword rankings, citation building, local landing pages, technical SEO, review strategies, and local link building. You should understand how to improve visibility across both Google Search and Google Maps/Local Pack, with a solid focus on generating calls, leads, direction requests, and other measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles for multiple USA-based local businesses.
- Improve rankings in the Google Local Pack, Google Maps, and organic search results.




- Conduct local keyword research based on services, cities, ZIP codes, neighborhoods, and search intent.
- Develop and execute Local SEO strategies for businesses operating in single and multiple locations.
- Optimize GBP categories, services, products, business descriptions, photos, posts, Q&A;, and other profile elements.
- Monitor and resolve GBP issues, suspensions, duplicates, ownership conflicts, and profile inconsistencies.
- Perform NAP consistency audits and manage local citations across relevant directories.
- Build high-quality local citations and niche-specific directory listings.
- Create strategies for acquiring local backlinks and geographically relevant mentions.
- Conduct competitor analysis covering GBP rankings, reviews, citations, backlinks, content, and local visibility.
