Key Objectives of this Role:
- Support cross functional teams with Component Engineering deliverable like Part Management, SCR Risk Assessment, PPAP Reliability review, etc.
- Support on alternate components for Product Development needs, Part Shortage, Multi sourcing, etc.
- Perform Product Bill of Materials (BOMs) Risk and Cost Analysis for Cost, Lifecycle Risks, Auto-Grades, Multi-sourcing opportunities, etc.
- Be accountable for Design for Sourcing (DFS) initiative and manage the DFS initiative through effective cross functional collaboration.
- As part of VAVE, explore and assess cost effective alternate components and drive Ideation for implementation acceptance.
- Interact with Semiconductor houses and bring-in Technological advancem
