Vice President - Structural Design
Reporting To - Chief Architect
Position Summary
The Vice President - Structural Design will lead the structural engineering function across the organization's commercial real estate portfolio, ensuring that all structural systems are safe, productive, compliant, and aligned with the overall design vision. The role is responsible for providing technical leadership across the complete project lifecycle—from concept development and design coordination through construction support and project completion.

The incumbent will oversee structural design strategy, consultant management, technical governance, and value engineering while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, statutory regulations, and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
Structural Design Leadership
- Lead the structural design and engineering of commercial, retail, mixed-use, and large-scale real estate developments.
- Develop, review, and approve structural concepts, engineering calculations, design reports, drawings, and technical specifications.




- Provide technical direction for RCC, Structural Steel, Composite, and Precast structural systems.
- Ensure structural solutions are technically robust, constructible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.

Design Coordination & Consultant Management
- Lead the selection, appointment, and management of Structural Consultants and specialist engineering firms.
- Evaluate and shortlist leading structural consultants and architectural firms based on project requirements and technical expertise.
- Coordinate closely with Architects, MEP Consultants, Project Management Consultants (PMC), Contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of structural designs.
- Translate business, operational, and leasing requirements into practical structural design solutions and engineering briefs.
