Production Management
- Plan and manage daily weaving production as per customer requirements and production schedules.
- Ensure achievement of production targets and loom utilization goals.
- Monitor loom performance, efficiency, fabric output, and productivity.
- Coordinate with Planning and Preparatory departments for uninterrupted production.
- Ensure timely processing of warp changes, style changes, and beam replacements.
Loom Performance & Efficiency
- Monitor loom efficiency and implement corrective actions for improvement.
- Analyze machine stoppages, warp breaks, weft breaks, and downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Optimize loom settings for maximum performance and quality output.
- Monitor machine-wise and shift-wise performance reports.
Quality Management
- Ensure fabric quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Identify and reduce weaving defects such as:
- Missing ends
- Double picks
- Broken picks
- Reed marks
- Oil stains
- Start marks
- Selvedge defects
- Coordinate with the Quality team for defect analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure first-time-right production and minimize rejection levels.
Manpower Management
- Manage supervisors, loom fitters, technicians, operators, and helpers.
- Allocate manpower based on production requirements.
- Conduct employee training and skill development programs.
- Monitor workforce productivity and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with shift schedules and attendance requirements.
Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum downtime.
- Monitor machine health and recommend equipment improvements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modernization activities.
Cost & Resource Control
- Monitor production costs and resource utilization.
- Minimize wastage of yarn, fab
