Main Duties & Responsibilities

Business Control Function
- Establish and drive a proactive management reporting and controls function.
- Integrate a commercial approach to the control and reporting function with value creation as the underlying objective.
- Implement effective, adaptable and dynamic systems and processes.
- Coordinate with the Downstream Business Control team to ensure standardization of processes within similar businesses.
- Review terms and conditions for major suppliers and contractors.
- Develop internal control policies and procedures.
- Identify and address business productivity and efficiency opportunities.
- Act as a business partner to various business units.

Financial Systems & Metrics
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Analyse financial variances and develop improvement measures.
- Ensure appropriate allocation and reporting of costs and margins.




- Review management reporting systems and processes.
- Coordinate guidelines and standard templates for the budgeting process and present the consolidated budget.
- Work with business units to calibrate reporting metrics and continuously evaluate financial and operating metrics.
- Review control and reporting procedures and document deficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reports.
- Handle technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
