Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end merchandise planning for seasonal and core categories, aligning with sales forecasts, inventory targets, and brand guidelines.
- Analyze sell-through, OTB, and margin performance to adjust buys, re-allocate stock, and maximize GMROI across channels.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and finance teams to finalize pricing strategies, pack sizes, and delivery schedules for launch-ready assortments.




- Monitor competitive landscape and consumer behavior trends to recommend proactive assortment shifts and markdown strategies.
- Manage vendor negotiations and supplier performance metrics to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality compliance.
- Present category performance dashboards and actionable insights to senior leadership, influencing merchandise strategy for key markets.

- ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Retail)
- Merchandise planning tools (e.g., JDA, Allocation, Assortment)
- OTB (Open-to-Buy) modeling
- Markdown optimization
- Inventory turnover analysis
- Vendor management
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced PivotTables, VLOOKUP, forecasting models)
- Power BI or Tableau

- Experience with fast-fashion or omni-channel retail environments
- Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
