Accounts Executive in a manufacturing company
is much more than bookkeeping—you’re helping manage the financial backbone of operations like production, inventory, and vendor payments. The role blends accounting, compliance, and coordination with multiple departments.
? Core Purpose
To ensure accurate financial records, smooth cash flow, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements while supporting daily manufacturing operations.
? Key Responsibilities
1. Day-to-day accounting
- Recording transactions (sales, purchases, expenses)
- Maintaining ledgers and journals
- Bank reconciliation
2. Accounts payable & receivable
- Managing vendor invoices and payments
- Tracking customer payments and follow-ups
- Handling credit terms and outstanding balances
3. Inventory & cost tracking
- Monitoring raw material and finished goods costs
- Working with production teams on stock records
- Assisting in cost analysis and budgeting
4. Taxation & compliance
- GST filing and returns
- TDS calculations and payments
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations
