IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer

Experience

6+ years
in integration development, preferably with solid hands-on experience in IIB/ACE.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using
IBM IIB / ACE

- Develop message flows using:
- Compute
- Mapping
- Filter
- Route
- MQ
- HTTP/REST
- SOAP
- File
- Database
- Timer/Scheduler nodes
- Develop integrations using
ESQL
, Java, and message mapping.
- Work with
IBM MQ
for synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
- Develop
REST and SOAP APIs
and integrate with external/internal applications.
- Handle various message formats including
JSON, XML, CSV, and fixed-length
.
- Implement message transformation, routing, enrichment, validation, and exception handling.
- Design reusable and configurable integration components.
- Implement error handling using
TryCatch, Failure terminals, exception handling, and MQ-based error queues
.
- Configure and manage
MQ queues, topics,



channels, and security
.
- Develop database integrations using SQL and JDBC.
- Implement logging, monitoring, auditing, and operational support mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform
root-cause analysis

- Optimize message flows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in deployment activities across
DEV, QA, UAT, and Production
environments.
- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD and automated deployments.
- Prepare technical documentation including solution design, interface specifications, mapping documents, and deployment documents.
