Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customers, expanding the dealer and distributor network, and increasing sales of Pipes, TMT Bars, and Metal Roofing Sheets. The role involves extensive field marketing, customer visits, project follow-ups, and relationship management with builders, contractors, fabricators, Engineers, retailers and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop current business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Appoint and manage dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Conduct regular field visits to builders, contractors, engineers, architects, fabricators, and industrial customers.
- Generate enquiries and convert them into sales and Market Strategy.
- Promote and market the company’s range of Pipes, TMT Bars, Metal Roofing sheets , Z-C perlin Decking sheets, Solar perlin and relavent all products.
- Follow up on customer requirements, project enquiries, and ongoing projects.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly,



and annual sales targets oriented.
- Develop strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Track payments and coordinate with customers for collection follow-ups when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing is preferred.

Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in field sales, business development, or marketing.
- Prior experience in Pipes, TMT Bars, Roofing Sheets, Steel, Building Materials, Construction Materials, or Industrial Products is mandatory.

Skills Required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer management abilities.
- Good knowledge of the construction and steel market.
- Ability to generate business through field marketing and project sales.
