Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software components for STB platforms.
- Perform feature development, integration, and bug fixing in Embedded Linux environments.
- Debug and resolve issues across application, middleware, and platform layers.
- Work on video streaming, OTT applications, DRM integration, and broadcast technologies.
- Collaborate with QA, hardware, and customer teams for product releases.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex software issues.
- Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

Core Skills:
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.
- Good experience in Embedded Linux development and debugging.
- Understanding of STB architecture, middleware, and device integration.
- Knowledge of IPTV, DVB, OTT, MPEG-DASH, HLS streaming technologies.
- Experience with DRM solutions such as Widevine or PlayReady.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi,



and multimedia technologies.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Linux debugging tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD and Agile development practices.
- Set-Top Box Technologies:
- Solid understanding of STB architecture and video delivery systems.
- Experience with ATSC, DVB, IPTV, Hybrid STB, or Android TV platforms.
- Knowledge of MPEG-TS, MPEG-DASH, HLS, and adaptive streaming technologies.
- Familiarity with CAS/DRM technologies such as PlayReady, Widevine, and Verimatrix.
- Experience with OTT application integration, media frameworks and qualification
- Experience in video rendering pipelines and playback debugging

Video & Streaming:
- Understanding of video codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1)
- Familiarity with streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTP/RTSP)
