Job Summary
The Operation Command Center (OCC) – Mechanical Sweeping is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and controlling the daily operation of mechanical sweeping machines deployed for road and public area cleaning. The role ensures smooth field operations, timely deployment, fuel monitoring, manpower coordination, breakdown reporting, route tracking, and preparation of operational reports to achieve productive and uninterrupted sanitation services.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Monitoring
- Monitor all mechanical sweeping machines during assigned shifts through GPS, phone communication, or other tracking systems.
- Ensure timely start and completion of sweeping operations as per approved schedules and route plans.
- Track machine movement, stoppages, productivity, and coverage of assigned roads and areas.
- Coordinate with field supervisors and operators for uninterrupted operations.
Command & Coordination
- Maintain continuous communication with operators, supervisors, technical staff, and fuel-in-charge personnel.
- Escalate operational issues, machine breakdowns, accidents, route deviations, or emergency situations to the concerned authority.
- Ensure immediate follow-up for breakdown rectification and arrange standby support whenever required.
Fuel & Resource Management
- Monitor daily fuel filling and consumption of all sweeping machines.
- Verify fuel reports, logbooks, and machine operating hours.
- Report abnormal fuel consumption or discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain:
- Daily Operation Report (DOR)
- Machine deployment report
- Breakdown and downtime report
- Fuel consumption report
- Attendance and shift reports
- Route completion status report
- Submit accurate repor
