Job Description – L2 Infrastructure & Deployment Support Engineer

Role Summary

A technically robust, mature and highly communicative L2 Support Lead is required to own end-to-end technical support of the NPA Management Solution. The role guides two L1 teams (Application and Infrastructure), coordinates with L3/Product Development, DBA, Security and specialist teams, and acts as the primary technical SPOC for Bank of India.

Must Have Skills

Technical Skills: Node.js, React.js, REST APIs, application services, schedulers and application logs

Database: Oracle DB, PL/SQL, data validation, troubleshooting, SQL/data validation and handle performance issues

OS / Infrastructure skills- Linux, VM, monitoring, deployment, backup/DR, server health

Oversee Linux servers, services, processes, CPU/memory/storage, connectivity, deployment, firewall, ports, ACL, proxy, DNS and SSL/TLS issues

Network / Security: TCP/IP, ports, firewall, ACL, proxy, DNS, load balancer, SSL/TLS, VAPT/SAST/DAST

Integration: CBS, REST/SOAP, SFTP, SSO/IDAM, SAML, SMS/Email gateways





Additional Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical SPOC between SAFE and BOI for application and infrastructure support.
- Lead and coordinate the L1 Application and L1 Infrastructure teams; review incidents, ageing tickets, risks and dependencies.
- Own P1/P2 incidents, escalations, SLA adherence and end-to-end resolution.
- Troubleshoot across Application, Infrastructure, Database, Network and Integration layers.
- Coordinate CBS, API, SFTP, SSO/IDAM, SAML, SMS/Email and external-system integrations.
- Coordinate with L3/Product Development for code-level defects and permanent fixes; lead RCA and corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead technical discussions, incident calls and review meetings; provide status, impact, risks, action plans and ETAs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams, functional/business teams and BOI senior
