Role Purpose
A well-known Manufacturing company is looking for an experienced
HR Manager/ Plant HR
to lead the complete HR function at the plant. The role will be responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, strengthening HR processes, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting a productive and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for the plant, including manpower planning and onboarding.
- Partner with functional heads to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closures.
- Develop and maintain effective recruitment and retention strategies.
- Performance Management
- Drive the annual performance management process, including goal setting, KRAs/KPIs, performance reviews and appraisals.
- Partner with functional heads and managers to ensure effective performance evaluation, feedback and development planning.
- Monitor performance outcomes and identify high performers, development needs and corrective actions to improve employee and organisational performance.
- Learning & Development / L&OD;
- Identify training and development needs across functions.
- Drive training programs, competency development and employee capability-building initiatives.
- Support succession planning, performance management and talent development.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Manage employee relations and address grievances effectively.
- Drive employee engagement and communication initiatives across the plant.
- Handle union/worker relations and negotiations while maintaining a positive industrial setting.
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage labour law documentation, statutory registers, inspections and audits.
- Coordinate with external authorities and consultants wherever required.
