We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Manager – Weaving for our vertically integrated textile manufacturing business in Kenya.
This is not a traditional production-management hire.
Profile we are looking for:
• Approximately 3–8 years relevant weaving experience
• Solid technical grounding across weaving and weaving preparatory processes
•
Hands-on experience with SMIT GS900 rapier looms
• Energetic, curious and hungry for growth
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working with data, ERP/SAP, digital systems and new AI tools
• Good people-management and team-organisation capability
• Continuous-improvement mindset rather than simply maintaining day-to-day production
• Open to relocating to Kenya

• Improve production planning and organisation
• Improve inventory and fulfilment performance

The key for us is potential and mindset. We would rather identify an ambitious Senior Executive / Assistant Manager ready for a bigger challenge than an established Production Manager looking for another conventional management role.
