About the Role

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and grow our
Databricks

business in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise technology

sales, with proven,
hands-on experience specifically selling Databricks solutions
to customers in

the Indian market. This role requires a deep understanding of the data & AI ecosystem, strong

relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through both new customer

acquisition and existing account expansion.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the sales strategy for Databricks offerings across assigned territory/accounts in India.
- Identify, qualify, and close recent business opportunities within enterprise and mid-market segments.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, forecasting accurately against revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including CXOs, Data/Analytics leaders, and IT decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with Databricks’ own sales/partner teams to leverage co-selling opportunities,



joint GTM initiatives, and partner incentives.
- Work with pre-sales/solution engineering teams to design and present tailored Databricks-based solutions to prospects.
- Stay current on the evolving Databricks platform (Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Delta Lake, etc.) and the broader competitive landscape (Snowflake, cloud-native data platforms, etc.).
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in line with company policies and margin expectations.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and Databricks partner forums to build market presence.
- Provide regular sales reports, pipeline reviews, and market feedback to leadership.
- Mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, delivery, pre-sales) to ensure a smooth customer journey from lead to deployment.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of overall experience in technology/software/enterprise sales.
