Company Overview
We are a technology and data services firm working with US-based real estate investment clients. We are standing up a current data-extraction and management service for a client's acquisitions business — and this role is the anchor hire for that service.
Role Overview
You will sit between the client's databases, software platforms, and acquisitions team, making sure information is accurate, well-structured, and flowing correctly between systems. The client's data lives across deal-management platforms and multiple loan databases; your job is to organize these disparate datasets into clean, reliable, query-ready structures that acquisitions workflows — and potentially new user interfaces — can be built on.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with direct client exposure. Day-to-day, you will work alongside our finance analyst team.
Roles & Responsibilities
SQL and data management — write and optimize SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data across multiple databases and datasets
Data validation — audit datasets for accuracy and completeness; find and fix discrepancies at the source
Data flows — map how data moves from one system or platform to another and keep it flowing correctly end to end
SOPs — document how data is entered, moved, checked, and maintained so processes are repeatable and auditable
Data governance — establish and maintain standards for how data is structured, managed, and controlled
Systems and UI — build fluency with the client's software platforms and their front ends; support interface buildouts on top of the organized data
Acquisitions support — connect data from various platforms and systems to acquisition-related workflows, delivering structured outputs the deal team can act on
Process improvement — identify opportunities to make in-house data processes more efficient or automated (Python scripting, scheduled jobs)
