8-14 years of experience in Windows server administration (depending on level)
3+ years in a Lead or Senior Windows Administrator role
Relevant certifications preferred:
AWS and Nutanix certification is required
PowerShell or Automation Certifications
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Operations
- Lead and manage Windows Server environments (2016 / 2019 / 2022) across production and non‑production systems
- Act as L3 escalation point for complex Windows infrastructure issues
- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and stability of Windows platforms
- Own end‑to‑end Windows infrastructure lifecycle management
Active Directory & Core Services
- Design, administer, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD DS) environments
- Manage and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Administer DNS, DHCP, and domain services
- Manage FSMO roles, AD replication, and multi‑domain/forest environments
Build, Patch & Security
- Oversee server build, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning
- Ensure compliance with security hardening standards and baselines
- Support vulnerability remediation and audit requirements
- Plan and execute OS upgrades and migrations
- Managing Infra using Prism Central and Prism element
- Ensure effective monitoring and alerting of Windows environments
- Analyse performance trends and proactively address capacity risks
- Coordinate with monitoring and security teams for alert optimization
Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Lead resolution of major incidents related to Windows infrastructure
- Perform and review Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Drive permanent fixes and preventive actions
- Review and approve change requests for Windows systems
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Mentor, guide, and technically enable L1/L2 a
