Role Summary
An experienced Oracle Forms & Reports developer to support the upgrade of EGA's Forms-based MES-Midstream applications (iRPMS, WBS, PDC) to the Oracle Linux platform on Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) 26ai, together with ongoing enhancements and production support. The resource is expected to own the full lifecycle — from impact assessment through development, testing, deployment, hyper-care and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct impact assessment of existing Oracle Forms & Reports applications for the Oracle Linux / ExaCC 26ai upgrade.
- Migrate, remediate and regression-test Oracle Forms & Reports modules on the target platform.
- Develop and enhance Forms/Reports components and the underlying PL/SQL and database objects.
- Prepare functional and technical design documents, unit-test evidence, test cases and results.
- Support system testing, UAT, deployment, hyper-care and knowledge transfer.
- Adhere to EGA development, documentation and change-management standards.
Essential Skills — Must-Have
- 5+ years hands-on Oracle Forms & Reports development (10g / 11g / 12c).
- Robust PL/SQL and Oracle Database skills — packages, procedures, triggers, SQL tuning.
- Demonstrable experience migrating/upgrading Forms applications across platforms or database versions.
- Oracle Reports development, conversion and troubleshooting.
- Full-SDLC delivery with disciplined design and test documentation.
