Sr. Key Responsibilities

1 Business Development (Hunting Focus)

 Identify and generate new leads for API sales in domestic and export markets.

 Approach prospective pharma companies, distributors, and CMOs to expand the

customer base.

 Build new business opportunities across regulated (US, EU, Japan), unregulated

markets & emerging markets.

 Ensure Inperson meetings with prospective Customers & relationship building

 Responsible for developing monthly sales visit plans & adherence to the same

 Support in preparing proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations.

 Convert new leads into long-term customers.

2 Market Research & Pipeline Development

 Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer requirements.

 Identify opportunities for new APIs in line with market demand.

 Maintain a healthy sales funnel for consistent business growth.

3 Customer Engagement

 Establish first-level relationships with decision makers in client organizations.





 Work with internal teams (Regulatory, QA, Supply Chain) to provide basic technical and

commercial support.

 Ensure smooth handover of accounts to Key Account Managers post onboarding.

C. Qualifications And Experience
Qualification  Bachelor’s/Master’s in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Life Sciences; MBA preferred.

Experience  3–6 years of experience in API sales/business development, preferably in a hunting role.

 Knowledge of API markets and regulatory landscape.

 Strong networking, prospecting, and communication skills.

Work Travel Extensive Travel - Domestic & International – Minimum 20 days in a month
