We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in year end accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT return preparation. The role requires someone who can manage client work independently, take ownership of assignments, and communicate confidently with clients where needed. To begin with, this role will be an individual contributor position, so the candidate should be comfortable handling the work end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year end accounts for clients accurately and within deadlines
- Handle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across diAerent sectors
- Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure timely submissions




- Take ownership of client assignments and manage them individually from start to finish
- Liaise with clients directly for records, queries, and follow-ups
- Review bookkeeping entries and ensure accuracy of ledgers and reconciliations Software Knowledge Required Xero Maintain working papers and supporting documentation in an organised manner
- Identify issues, missing information, or inconsistencies and proactively resolve them
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and deadlines
- Work across multiple accounting software platforms depending on client requirements
