Every weekend, thousands of people come to a Play All venue to compete and play. As Event Manager, you will be responsible for delivering those experiences and improving them with every event. You will own Play All's corporate events end to end, lead a team of Event Executives who run tournaments and pickup games across the network, and play a central role in building the Play All community.
The role combines hands-on delivery with team leadership: you will close and run major events yourself, while building a team that delivers a consistent standard at every venue and in every city.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Events
• Manage the full corporate events pipeline: enquiry, pitch, quotation, planning, execution, and post-event reporting.
• Design and prepare event packages to offer corporate clients, tailored to their requirements.
• Coordinate closely with vendors to ensure seamless delivery and an elevated customer experience at every event.
• Win new corporate clients and convert them into repeat business.
• Own the event P& L — pricing, costs, and margins — with a transparent focus on increasing revenue per event.
Team Leadership — Tournaments & Pickup Games
• Lead Event Executives across zones who run weekend tournaments and pickup games.
• Allocate events, set KPIs, coach the team, and raise the overall standard.
• Ensure one consistent Play All experience across all venues.
Community Building
• Drive community building as a core part of the role — growing engagement and turning players into a loyal, returning community.
• Stay attuned to trends in sport and culture, with a strong sense of what makes events appealing and worth coming back to.
• Develop fresh, engaging event formats — leagues, sports days, kids' events, and new tournament
