Position Summary
We are looking for an Electronic Materials Technician with experience in electronic component stores, inventory control, and material issuance. The role involves managing day-to-day component transactions, kit preparation, stock monitoring, inventory record maintenance, and providing timely inputs to the purchase and planning teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
Material Issue & Kitting
• Issue electronic components and materials against production requirements.
• Prepare and issue component kits (Kitting) for manufacturing orders.
• Ensure accuracy of components and quantities issued to production.
• Track and reconcile material consumption against issued quantities.
Inventory Records & Documentation
• Maintain Bin Cards and ensure all material movements are recorded accurately.
• Perform software entries for all material receipts, issues, returns, and stock adjustments.
• Ensure inventory records in the software match physical stock availability.
• Maintain proper documentation of all inventory transactions.
Inventory Monitoring & Control
• Monitor stock levels on a daily basis.
• Track Minimum, Maximum, and Reorder Level quantities.
• Raise material indents/requisitions whenever stock approaches minimum levels.
• Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and critical shortage items.
Production Planning Support
• Review order position and production requirements regularly.
