Role & responsibilities-
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, Schedule III, and relevant NBFC regulatory frameworks.
- Evaluate the financial and accounting impact of complex business transactions under Ind AS / IFRS and establish robust underlying accounting setups.
- Oversee the timely compliance and accurate submission of monthly and quarterly regulatory reports to governing authorities.
- Manage the Internal Financial Controls (IFC) mechanism, including the conceptualization, execution, and periodic testing of RCMs.
- Act as the primary point of contact to facilitate seamless quarterly and annual Statutory, Internal, and Regulatory Audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design accounting flows for new financial products, formulating comprehensive roadmaps for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and final implementation.
- Drive operational efficiency by reviewing existing manual processes, designing robust SOPs, and implementing smart automation tools.
- Deliver comprehensive Monthly MIS reports, featuring product-wise P&L; breakdowns and deep-dive variance analyses for executive decision-making.
- Provide data-driven financial insights and strategic support to Senior Management on ongoing corporate transactions and high-priority business projects.
Preferred candidate profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of post-qualification experience, demonstrating a solid command over financial reporting.
- Prior experience working within the BFSI sector (preferably an NBFC or Bank)
