About the Role: Sigmoid is looking to board a Leader for our Insurance Consulting Practice who can bridge thegap between high-level strategy and granular operational reality. A true expert in the insurancespace must understand the interconnectedness of insurance products, claims ecosystems,underwriting dynamics, customer journeys, regulatory requirements, and operational processes. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives, foster innovation, and provide visionary directionto our insurance practice with a strong focus on insurance analytics and AI-led transformation. The role requires a strong portfolio leader responsible for managing strategic accounts acrossnew business development and account growth, while partnering with senior clientstakeholders to define analytics use cases across Data Engineering, Data Science, Product Engineering, and Consulting. Roles and Responsibilities:- Strong understanding of Insurance sub sectors operating model,



value drivers and underlying mechanics- Insurance Operations - Ability to understand how core insurance functions interact across sales, enrollment, eligibility, underwriting, policy issuance, premium collection, claims processing, customer servicing, and renewal workflows.- Knowledge of Disability insurance (short and long term, wage replacement models and return to work customer journeys) preferred- In-depth knowledge of the data and process landscape within insurance organizations, including customer data, policy data, claims data, billing data, agent/broker data, operational data, and third-party data used for decision-making.- Good understanding on Life & Supplemental Advantages: group life, voluntary life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and related employee benefits products and Absence & Leave Management: leave intake, case management, compliance workflows, employee communication, and employer reporting.- The leader must be aware of the latest technologies used by insurance institutions across D
