Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of our next-generation Demand Forecasting platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced predictive modeling and robust cloud engineering. You will leverage Azure Databricks to build scalable forecasting algorithms, ranging from traditional machine learning to deep learning, and utilize Azure AI Foundry alongside contemporary MLOps pipelines to productionize, monitor, and scale these solutions across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities1. Algorithm Development & Advanced Analytics

· Design, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art demand forecasting models utilizing XGBoost, Light GBM, LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory), and other statistical or deep learning architectures.

· Handle complex time-series nuances such as seasonality, trend detection, promotional impacts, cold-start problems, and hierarchical forecasting.

· Conduct extensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering on massive, multi-source datasets. 2.



Data Engineering & Pipeline Infrastructure

· Author high-performance, production-grade code using Python (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn, Tensor Flow/Py Torch) and Spark/Py Spark.

· Write complex, optimized SQL queries directly within Databricks to extract, transform, and aggregate data from Delta Lakes or enterprise data warehouses.

· Construct robust, automated data and feature pipelines within Azure Databricks, ensuring data quality, lineage, and minimal latency. 3. MLOps, Deployment & Integration

· Architect and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines for training, evaluation, and batch or real-time inference, leveraging MLflow and Azure Data Factory.

· Deploy and manage forecasting models using Azure AI Foundry, ensuring seamless model tracking, governance, evaluation, and monitoring.

· Champion operational excellence by setting up CI/CD workflows for machine learning using Git and Azu
