Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Belt Technology Specialist to lead the development and manufacturing of Endless Poly-V Belts, Timing Belts, Flat Transmission Belts, Caterpillar Belts, and related polymer-based products.

The successful candidate will play a key role in product design, polymer formulation, tooling development, process optimization, prototype validation, and manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development
Design and develop endless rubber and polyurethane belt products. Develop belt geometry,



rib profiles, tooth profiles, reinforcement structures, and product specifications. Select suitable elastomers, reinforcement cords, yarns, and textile materials. Identify and develop suitable raw material and component vendors. Material & Process Engineering
Develop rubber and polymer formulations. Optimize calendaring, extrusion, moulding, winding, bonding, curing, and vulcanisation processes. Develop tooling, moulds, mandrels, and manufacturing fixtures. Production & Process Improvement
Support prototype development and pilot production. Improve manufacturing productivity, quality, and process capability. Troubleshoot product and process-related issues. Testing & Quality
Validate products through tensile, fatigue, elongation, wear resistance, flexibility, and dynamic performance testing. Ensure compliance with applicable customer and industry standards. Technical Documentation
