Indian sports fans follow far more than cricket — but the media around them is built for one sport, so the moments they care about in everything else get lost. NOMISS is building the product that fixes that: a personalised experience that brings each fan the sports, teams, and players they actually follow. We're an early-stage consumer startup in Hyderabad, building toward launch, with a large and underserved audience to win.

The Role

Own technology end-to-end as NOMISS's first engineering leader. You set the architecture, build and lead the engineering team, and are the single point of accountability for the product being rapid, reliable, and ready to scale. A build partner is helping us reach our first release; you take full ownership of the platform from there and drive it forward. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll write and review code, make the hard calls, and build the systems the company runs on for years.



You report directly to the founder and have full technical authority.

What You'll Own

Architecture & platform

• Own the end-to-end architecture across mobile and backend, and the technical roadmap that supports launch and scale

• Make the foundational decisions — data models, services, infrastructure — that the product will be built on for years

• Keep the system simple, observable, and cost-aware as usage grows toward millions of users

Personalised delivery at scale

• Own the systems that get the right content to every user at the right moment, reliably, as the user base grows

• Build for correctness and graceful failure — retries, recovery, and alerting so problems are caught before users feel them

Data & reliability

• Own real-time sports data pipelines — ingesting, processing, and serving live information from multiple sources with high reliability
