Senior Accountant | US Accounting | CPA/CA | US GAAP | Remote US Shift

Location: Remote (India) | Supporting US-Based Organization

Shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST (US Central Time)

About the Opportunity:

We are hiring for a growing US-based organization looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, reporting, compliance, and financial planning.

This role is ideal for professionals with US accounting experience who can manage end-to-end finance activities, ensure accurate reporting, improve processes, and collaborate directly with US leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end US accounting operations including GL, AP, AR & reconciliations

• Handle month-end and year-end close activities

• Prepare and review P& L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow reports

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and financial reporting standards

• Support US tax preparation, IRS compliance & tax-related activities

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting,



variance analysis & cash flow planning

• Improve accounting workflows, controls & automation processes

• Coordinate with US stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors & leadership

Requirements:

• CPA/CA preferred; candidates with strong US accounting experience will be considered

• 5+ years of experience in US Accounting / Finance roles

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting & month-end close

• Exposure to US tax support / IRS compliance

• Experience with cash flow forecasting & financial analysis

• Hands-on experience with Quick Books, Net Suite, Sage Intacct, or similar ERP tools

• Solid written & verbal English communication skills

• Comfortable working in US shift hours

Preferred: CPA license registered in Illinois (IL) / Connecticut (CT) -Not Mandatory
