Role Description This is a full time, on-site Critical Care Physician role based at AMARA HOSPITAL in Tirupati. The Critical Care Physician will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and ongoing management. Daily responsibilities include performing rounds, reviewing clinical data, ordering and interpreting investigations,



and coordinating multidisciplinary care with nursing, respiratory therapy, and other specialty teams. The role involves performing or supervising procedures related to critical care, participating in emergency response situations, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards. The physician will also contribute to care planning with families, support clinical teaching for staff and trainees, and participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with demonstrated experience managing critically ill adult patients.
- Relevant exposure or competence in Pulmonology, especially in managing respiratory failure, ventilator support, and related ICU conditions.
- Familiarity with Anesthesiology principles and procedures related to airway management, sedation, and pain control in critical care settings.
