JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: BA (Revenue Cycle Management - RCM)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Business Analyst with a solid focus on requirements gathering. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and be able to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, define, and document system and process requirements. The role involves gathering comprehensive requirements, analyzing business needs, and ensuring that RCM systems and workflows align with the organization's financial goals, compliance standards, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
• Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., billing, coding, finance, clinical operations) and the IT team to capture and define detailed business require-ments for RCM systems and processes.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders to identify pain points, opportunities for improvement,



and specific needs within the revenue cycle.
• Develop use cases and user stories to ensure business requirements are clearly un-derstood and documented by both technical teams and stakeholders.
• Lead requirement prioritization sessions to determine which business needs should be addressed first based on their impact on revenue cycle performance, compliance, and efficiency.
• Maintain a detailed requirements traceability matrix to ensure that all business require-ments are captured, validated, and implemented throughout the project lifecycle. Process and Workflow Documentation:
• Analyze existing RCM processes and workflows to identify areas where technology or process improvements are needed.
• Map current and future state processes (using process flow diagrams or similar tools) to ensure that proposed changes align with business objectives and system capabili-ties.
