Finance AR Receivables Collections and Cash Application Specialist
Under limited supervision, supports customer credit relationships by resolving complex credit and collection problems. Makes decisions regarding credit extensions. Acts as a mentor to junior professionals. The resource needs to work US work hours PST time Zone (Night Shift).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.



Minimizes financial risk to the organization by assessing and advising on creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers.
2. Authorizes credit applications within established company guidelines and up to a specified dollar amount.
3. Conducts periodic analysis of accounts to identify those that may require difficult collection procedures.
4. Develops and implements process improvements for collections strategy and cash flow.
5. Performs customer credit benchmarking with industry and credit associations.
6. Negotiates payment programs with delinquent customers.
7. Develops KPIs and other reporting for executive management.
8. Maintains policies and procedures for J-Sox compliance.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Level of Education and Training Required
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance and 8-12 years of relevant experience. Preferred knowledge of Oracle Applications Receivable and Cash/Credit Management Modules (EBS R12 and Fusion)
