Role Description This is a full time, on-site Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The SEO Specialist will plan, execute, and optimize SEO strategies to increase organic visibility, traffic, and lead generation for Tekance's digital properties. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth keyword research, performing regular SEO audits, and implementing on-page optimization such as metadata, headings, internal linking, and content recommendations. The role involves managing and monitoring link-building initiatives, collaborating with content and marketing teams to align SEO with broader campaigns, and analyzing website performance using web analytics tools. The SEO Specialist will also track key SEO metrics, prepare performance reports, and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance search rankings and user experience.

Qualifications
Strong proficiency in keyword research and search intent analysis (e.g., using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs).



Hands-on experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits and technical reviews of websites. Proven skills in on-page SEO, including optimization of titles, meta descriptions, URL structures, headings, and internal linking. Experience planning and executing ethical link-building strategies, including outreach and partnership development. Ability to use web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools) to monitor performance and generate actionable insights. Solid understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors. Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS and content management systems (e.g., Word Press or similar) is preferred.
