Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Siliguri. The Candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger review, and preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities include managing taxation (direct and indirect), handling statutory and regulatory compliances, and coordinating with auditors for internal and external audits. The role involves budgeting, cash flow management, cost analysis for real estate projects, and financial reporting to management. The Candidate will also support project-wise profitability analysis, implement internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as projects,



sales, and procurement to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Qualifications
Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with an active membership; a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Experience in direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, income tax filings, and liaison with tax authorities.
Proficiency in audit support, internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP software, MS Excel, and data analysis tools for reconciliations and financial modeling.
Prior exposure to real estate, construction, or related sectors is an advantage.
