At Innaide, we're building an innovative postpartum fashion product focused on comfort, functionality, and confidence for women during their postpartum journey.
We're looking for a Knitwear Designer to collaborate with us on a freelance basis and help bring this product to life.
What You'll Work On
1. Concept & Design Development
- Translate briefs into original activewear and/or intimate wear designs suited for postpartum wear
- Deliver mood boards, sketches, and design direction on time
- Ensure designs balance functionality, comfort, and aesthetics
2. Technical Specification
- Create detailed tech packs with construction, fabric, and finishing notes
- Ensure specs are manufacturer-ready with minimal revisions needed
3. Material Selection
- Recommend fabrics and materials appropriate for activewear and/or intimate wear in a postpartum context
- Evaluate materials for softness, stretch, recovery, and skin sensitivity
4. Sampling & Iteration




- Guide or oversee the sample development process
- Review samples against design intent and provide clear revision feedback
- Drive samples to final approved standard within agreed rounds
5. Milestone & Deliverable Adherence
- Meet all project deadlines and milestones
- Communicate proactively on delays or blockers
- Submit final assets in agreed formats
6.. Brand & User Alignment
- Design with the postpartum customer in mind — body changes, ease of wear, emotional comfort
- Ensure all output is consistent with brand identity and product vision
Who We're Looking For

• Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and knit structures
