Job Overview:
A Mumbai-based family office is looking to hire a Junior Equity Analyst for its Global Equities team, covering both India and overseas markets. The firm employs a value-oriented investment strategy with a focus on a three to five-year investment horizon.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our team of Senior Equity Research Analysts in evaluating and analysing publicly traded companies. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced analysts to gather and analyse data, update financial models, and track industry trends. This role offers an opportunity to grow into a full-fledged Equity Research Analyst over time, given robust performance and demonstrated skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Equity Research Analysts in conducting in-depth financial analysis of public companies, including reviewing earnings reports, financial statements, and other relevant data.
Provide ad-hoc support to senior analysts on various research projects and initiatives.
Support the creation and maintenance of financial models, valuations,



and forecasting tools.
Monitor industry trends, macroeconomic data, and company-specific developments.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. CFA Level 1 or progress toward certification is a plus.
Demonstrated aptitude in constructing and maintaining integrated three-statement financial models is mandatory. Financial modelling skills will be tested during the interview stage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate findings thoroughly yet concisely.
Interest in capital markets, public companies, and financial analysis.
