Role Description The Behavior Counsellor & SEN Teacher will be responsible for supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development while providing individualized instruction and accommodations for learners with special educational needs. This full-time, on-site role in Nellore involves conducting student observations, assessments, and counseling sessions, as well as developing and implementing behavior intervention plans and individualized education plans (IEPs).



The role includes collaborating closely with classroom teachers to modify lesson plans, adapt teaching materials, and support inclusive classroom practices. The Behavior Counsellor & SEN Teacher will regularly communicate with families and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for support at home. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contributing to staff training and awareness on inclusive education and behavior management.
Qualifications
Strong skills in behavior assessment, counseling techniques, and behavior intervention planning to support students’ social and emotional needs.
Experience in special education needs (SEN) instruction, including individualized education plans (IEPs), lesson differentiation, and classroom accommodations.
