The University of Aberdeen will open its Mumbai campus in Powai in September 2026. At launch, it will offer six programmes: four-year undergraduate degrees in Computing, Data Science, Economics, and Business Management, along with one-year master's degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Business Administration.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounts Manager to manage student financial operations, including fee collection, reconciliation, hostel accounts, and financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all student-related financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Fee Collection & Student Accounts
Manage and track student fee collections (tuition, hostel, and other charges). Ensure timely invoicing and follow-ups for outstanding dues. Maintain accurate student ledgers and financial records. Coordinate with admissions and academic teams to validate fee structures. 2. Reconciliation & Reporting
Perform regular reconciliation of student accounts, bank statements, and fee collections. Identify discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner. Prepare periodic MIS reports on collections, outstanding dues, and revenue trends. Support audits by maintaining proper documentation and records. 3. Hostel & Auxiliary Fee Management
Handle hostel fee billing, tracking, and reconciliation. Coordinate with hostel/admin teams on occupancy and fee applicability. Manage refunds, adjustments, and deposits (if applicable). 4. Stakeholder Coordination
