Key Purpose of the Job
This position is responsible for overseeing the entire Accounts activities at the plant. The position shall be responsible for ensuring up to date and accurate maintenance of plant accounts, ensuring all statutory compliances, and ensuring appropriate internal controls , proper working capital management and accounts payable function at the Plant.. The position is also responsible for providing decision support on financial analysis and cost savings to the Plant Finance Head.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Financial planning and budgetary control at the Plant
• Timely and accurate accounting and closure of Plant Accounts • Working capital management for the plant
• Adherence to all statutory compliance for the plant
• Ensure timely and accurate update on SAP
• Timely and accurate payments to all employees and vendors • Fixed Asset Management at the plant

• Oversee and ensure timely closing of monthly and annual accounts for the plant
• Ensure compliance of all applicable accounting policies and standards
• Ensure compliance with all internal control policies and procedures of the company
• Ensure timely generation and authenticity of monthly MIS Reports and its timely submission
• Ensure appropriate Fixed Asset accounting and management in compliance with the company’s Fixed Asset Policy and the accounting standards
• Manage the statutory audit processes in the Plant and ensure no non compliances Budgeting & Cost Control
• Oversee the preparation of the monthly and annual budgets for the plant and ensure finalization of the same in consultation with the Plant Head
• Review the budget versus actuals and highlight any discrepancies to the Plant Head
• Coordinate, control and monitor the fixed and variable cost and fixed assets at the Plant
• Conduct daily and monthly detailed variance analysis on conversion cost and investigate for resolution
