What we are looking for
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lead – Accounting, Taxation & Compliance to manage core finance operations, statutory compliance, and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in accounting, GST and TDS compliance, financial reconciliations, and audit support. This role requires an individual who can independently manage day-to-day finance activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting process improvements.
What you’ll do
▪ Manage end-to-end accounting activities and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
▪ Handle GST compliance, including reconciliations, return filings, and resolution of GST-related issues.
▪ Manage TDS computation, payments, return filings, and periodic reconciliations.
▪ Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and coordinate with auditors during audits.
▪ Perform balance sheet reconciliations and conduct periodic control reviews.
▪ Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
▪ Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
▪ Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
▪ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support finance operations and reporting requirements.
▪ Identify and mitigate compliance risks while ensuring adherence to applicable tax regulations.
